This time it will be an 8x10, I get to surprise you with the style but you can choose the colors! Here is the only kicker....if you live in Dallas or nearby you can come pick it up, if you win out of state...can you pay for shipping? Not because I don't want to....I just don't have an extra $10 to do so these days!

DIY Mailer Tubes

This is such a cute idea for invitations. I wish I would have done it! Check out My DIY Wedding Day for more ideas.

Materials
Scrapbooking or wrapping paper (in solid colors or patterns to match your wedding invitations)
Scissors
Liquid adhesive
Mailing tubes (these are from the container store, but they're available at the post office and online too)
Sticky labels

Step 1: Use a scrap piece of paper to measure the size of the piece needed to completely cover the tube.

Step 2: Neatly trim paper to size of mailer based on that piece.

Step 3: Cover the back of the paper with adhesive, applying it strips for consistency.
Step 4: Gently roll the paper around the tube, making sure to place it evenly with all edges, lining up the edges so that the tube itself is not showing.

Step 5: Let it dry. (Shouldn't take long at all.)

Step 6: Decide where you'd like the label to placed then stick it on, and you're done!

(Note: In order to make it work without damaging the stationery, you'll want to pick a low-weight paper.)

Brooke & Joe

My little sister Brooke is getting married in 3 weeks! She is having an outdoor wedding in Broken Arrow. I had a fun time with her invitations. They started out brown and green but after a few hours in the Scrap Happy store, I had a handful of paper combinations I wanted to try out. We ended using them all and making matching response cards. They turned out very classy on the outside (dark choc. brown) and more fun on the inside. It seemed a little chaotic with them all together but each guest just see ONE invitation, so it works. I designed maps and printed them on a thin vellum. The square invites have higher postage but I made response Postcards instead of the standard card/stamped envelope.
